The work includes upgrading the restrooms, upgrading the electrical and lighting systems, replacing the heating system, replacing the existing windows, replacing the overhead doors with roll-up doors, painting the exterior of the building and replacing the roof. Asbestos abatement and lead paint removal will be invovled as part of the repair work. The estimated construction cost is between $100,000 and $250,000. Plans and specs will be available o/a 18 July 96 and BOD is o/a 20 Aug 96. A non-refundable charge of $34 per solicitation package is required. Checks should be made payable to the Dept of Treasury c/o EFA Chesapeake. Requests for plans and specs may be submitted in writing to the above address.
