Morris (816) 426-7267 ext 234 The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has revised its requirement for Balloons as advertised in the CBD on April 8, 1996. Balloons must meet the performance requirement set fort in NWS Specification No. J300-SP004 dated June 14, 1996. The types of balloons to be acquired are as follows, Severe Weather (SW) 16km, and General Purpose (GP) 26km, 28km and 30km. The estimated annual requirement for SW balloons is 5,000 each and for GP balloons is 80,000 each which may be one size or a combination of all three sizes. Solicitation to be issued on or about July 30, 1996. (0187)
