70 -- OPERATING ROOM SCHEDULING SYSTEM SOL DADA15-96-R-0051. Contact Point Al Bariatti, 202/576-8282, Contracting Officer. It is the intention of the Government to procure by negotiation, an Operating Room (OR) Management System to be used at the Moncrief Army Community Hospital, Fort Jackson, SC. This procurement will include all necessary hardware, software, installation and training to automate the OR and provide for the following functions: 1) have the ability to support 8 scheduled OR rooms; 2) perform OR scheduling; 3) review past, present and future OR suite utilization; 4) provide for inventory control management with Bar Coding and Reading capability 5) provide for an historical file of information concerning cases performed in the OR (length of case, type of surgery, anesthesia time, personnel involved, patient data, etc); 6) capable of capturing the cost of surgical procedures; 7) track status of equipment listed on the property book; 8) capable of generating customized detailed reports and graphical data; 9) the software shall be menu driven, contain a security system, provide on-line tutorial instructions and be Windows compatible. The furnished system must interface with the Government-owned Composite Health Care System (CHCS). System hardware will include as a minimum: One IBM compatible PC Server Pentium 120 MHZ w/64MB RAM; Four IBM compatible 133MHz Pentium Workstations; and one HP Laser Jet 4 plus or equal printer. In addition to the hardware and software requirements, the Government requires complete system integration, installation and training support; and four option years of system maintenance. Only new equipment is acceptable and only one contract award will be made for all line items.
