Houghton, Contract Specialist, (309) 681-6616 The USDA-ARS-Midwest Area has the requirement for an Employee Assistance Program to provide guidance counseling and assistance services to employees to ARS locations including, but not limited to Peoria, IL, Morris, MN, Madison, WI, and Columbia, MO. Range of services includes acceptance of management, union, family, or self-referrals; evaluation of presenting problems; referral to appropriate community treatment resources; individual short-term counseling; monitoring employee progress; management consultation; training of agency officials and employees; and statistical reporting. The range of problems to be covered includes any mental/emotional/behavioral problems, especially those related to alcohol and/or drug abuse use which may adversely impact on job performance or behavior. The number of employees at combined locations is estimated to be between 400 and 500 employees. Award shall be made for the base period with renewal options for four (4) years. RFQ No. 5114-6-3018 will be issued or or about July 22, 1996 and quotations will be required to be received not later than the close of business August, 21, 1996.
