J -- PROVIDE/FURNISH MAINTENANCE AND/OR REPAIR SERVICES FOR VARIOUS COMMISSARIES LOCATED WITHIN THE DEFENSE COMMISSARY AGENCY. SOL HQC491-0185-0000 POC Phyllis Banks-West (804)734-8680 (Site Code DECA01) This is a sources sought synopsis to determine interested offerors capable of providing/furnishing services (to include maintenance services) for the Defense Commissary Agency (DECA) Commissaries, which encompass 29 zones located throught the United Statese. This is not a RFP or IFB. This information will be used for planning purposes only. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this request or otherwise pay for information provided. The contractor will provide all personnel, transportation, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other item(s) to provide services such as exterminating, alarm systems (including freezer alarms), express mail, armored car, banking, cash handling, generators, rental/exchange/sharpening of knives/plates/blades/saws, food processing equipment, pagers, cellular phones, rental/exchange/laundry for linen/mats, rental/lease of intercom/music systems, inventory, utility, coupon redemption, disposal of fat, bones, cardboard removal, custodial services and ADP maintenance. Be advised that this list is not all inclusive, but rather a representation of the classes of commodities for which the Defense Commissary Agency may require services. The Government's intent is to consolidate its requirements into contracts to the responsive/responsible source(s) capable of furnishing these and other services. Prospective contractors must be able to provide services to all DECA locations or groups of locations throughout the United States.
