ACQUISITION REFORM INDUSTRY ROADSHOW FOR SMALLER BUSINESSES: HONOLULU, HI JULY 22-23, 1996. The office of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Research, Development and Acquisition) is sponsoring a RoadShow, which will be held on 22-23 July, Hilton Hawaiian Village, Honolulu, HI. This event offers business (subcontractors and suppliers) an opportunity to learn how acquisition reform affects the way they do business with the Department of the Navy. The RoadShow will provide information on acquisition reform goals; how acquisition reform is changing; and provide instruction to participants on relevant DoD topics such as: Electronic Commerce, DoN Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization: How to do business with the Navy, Past Performance, Performance Specifications and Standards, Performance-Based Statements of Work, Defense Acquisition Deskbook, FASA, and much more.
