The work is to construct a three story, 88,000 SF masonry building with individual toilets for each two-student room and a common core area on each floor. The site willbe available about Jan 1997, having been prepared by a preceeding separate contract for demolition of the existing dormitory. The project includes brick veneer with synthetic stucco accent panels and a sloped standing seam aluminum roof. Tradesinclude: fire sprinklers, manual and automatic fire and smoke detection, gypsum wallboard walls and ceilings, variable air volume space conditioning, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, telephone raceways, data network, CATV, lightning protection,landscaping with irrigation, recreation courts, parking lots, sidewalks, and utilities connections. EMCS shall have HVAC controls manufactured by Control Systems International (CSI), Dallas, TX. Estimated cost is $1 - 5 MILLION. Estimated duration ofthe contract is 365 calendar days for completion.
