Slana (Site Code W31XNJ) The Taxiway and Apron at Tarapoto, Peru, provides for the construction of a taxiway, an apron, and miscellaneous site improvements to support operations of the Peruvian Air Force at the Tarapoto Airport. The main features of this project will consist of construction of an asphaltic concrete taxiway, approximately 180 meters in length, a rigid pavement apron with the capacity to moor two, C-130 aircraft, and a rigid pavement helipad. If awarded, bid options will include; a power building for the taxiway and apron electrical system, the construction of a 20-man barracks with utilities, and construction of a general warehouse. This Solicitation Includes Bid Options Which May Not Be Awarded. Critical Path Method (Network Analysis System) is not required. Bid documents are available on or about 19 July 1996. Cost are as follows: Plans half size $7.00. Specifications $28.00. Estimated cost of work is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Requests for Plans and Specifications shall indicate in writing whether Firm will bid as a Prime contractor or a Subcontractor.
