Institute of Technology plans to award a construction contract in
support of the Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave (LIGO) for a
five building complex and infrastructure to support the complex. The
complex is located 5 miles north of the town of Livingston, Louisiana.
The contract will consist of the following: Item 1: Three buildings on
concrete foundation with 30-inch thick concrete slab on grade floors,
using steel framing and insulated metal panel walls. One building is
57,000 square feet, featuring high bay and laboratories with five-ton
cranes, the other two buildings are 8,000 square feet each. 2: Two
pre-engineered buildings on concrete foundation and concrete slab on
grade. 3: All the infrastructure to support the buildings. 4: If a bid
