Work to be performed is located at Colorado National Monument, Tunnel #3, approximately three miles from the east (Grand Junction) entrance to the park. The work consists of the removal of existing and application of new shotcrete lining within the tunnel structure. During this process existing drainlines excavated into the tunnel wall will be extended to the crown of the arch. Removal of loose talus from a large, steep slope, rock scaling and doweling large rocks in place directly above the tunnel portal area also included in this contract.
