Postal Service is soliciting proposals for the complete build-out of approximately 3,900 sf space as a postal retail store and approximately 5,800 sf renovation to existing postal space including asbestos abatement at the Farmington, Connecticut Main Post Office 06032-9998. This project will be done in phases. Work includes, but is not limited to, demolition, site work, concrete, masonry, carpentry, finishes, furnishings, mechanical, electrical, special construction, and related miscellaneous work. The estimated cost of the work is between $200,000.00 and $500,000.00, with completion within 150 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. Sealed offers will be received in this office prior to, but no later than, 4:00 p.m. on August 7, 1996. Offers will not be publicly opened. The number of offers received, the identity of the offerors, the amount of any offer, or relative standing of the offerors WILL NOT BE DISCLOSED TO ANYONE until award of contract is made. Proposal documents, plans and specifications will be available o/a July 10, 1996 at a cost of $50.00 per set (non-refundable) from the Facilities Service Office, U. S.
