Child Development Center Playground - This project includes all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and performance necessary for the renovation of the Child Development Center playground at McConnell AFB, KS, to meet Consumer Products Safety Commission and USAF guidelines. Work includes, but is not limited to, the installation of Government supplied playground equipment on a concrete sub-base with rubberized fall protection. Earthwork will also be required to provide improved drainage for the entire site. A patio and steel shade structure shall be constructed next to an existing buiding. The project also includes the addition of outdoor drinking fountains, concrete tricycle paths, plant materials, and an automatic irrigation system. Magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. Anticipated issuance date for IFB Solicitation Number F14614-96-B0023 is 1 Aug 96. Tentative bid opening date is 3 Sep 96.
