Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, materials and supervision to perform the following work at McChord AFB WA: remove and dispose of 37 underground storage tanks (USTs) of 250 to 20,000 gallons; clean and decommission six 250 gallon USTs; reline interior tank walls of five USTs of 30,000 gallons each; provide and install 21 each single-wall FRP clad steel USTs of 250 to 2,000 gallons in concrete vaults; provide and install two each double-wall fiberglass USTs of 12,000 gallons with dispensers and leak detection/product monitoring system; provide and install nine double wall steel/concrete abovegrade storage tanks of 5,000 to 12,000 gallons with curbed spill containment/foundation pads, piping, controls and dispensers; construct masonry screening wall; landscaping; and building demolition/removal. Magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Solicitation will be issued on or about 24 July 1996 with bid opening anticipated 23 August 1996. The proposed contract listed herein is being solicited unrestricted. The applicable Standard Industrial Code is 1629 with an average annual gross revenue of $17 million for the last three (3) fiscal years. There is a non-refundable charge of $89.00 for each bid set. Acceptable forms of payment are corporate checks, U.S. Postal money orders, or bank cashier's check made payable to ``U.S. Air Force''. Personnel checks and cash are unacceptable. All requests for bid packages must be in writing and accompanied by the requisite payment. Requests without the required payment will not be acknowledged.
