Z -- REPAIR SEA WALL SOL 620-9-96 DUE 091996 POC Karen Diehl, (914) 737-4400, Ext. 2072 Furnish all labor, materials, tools, and supervision necessary for Project 620-96-109, REPAIR SEA WALL at the F.D.R. VA Hospital, Montrose, NY. Work will include, but not be limited to the following: Sea wall repair along the Hudson River, repairs to the toe areas eroded by tidal action and winter ice effects, installation of a lined gravel drain with spaced through sea wall PVC pipe outfalls along the inside order of the repaired sea wall, sea wall drainage system, area drainage, grading for walkways and future plantings, promenade, firewater intake system, security lighting system, promenade and walkway pavers and sea wall railing, paving in parking areas and boat launch repairs. Installation of reinforced concrete tow along the entire length of the affected areas, some patching and the upper surface to be mortared, rebuilding, replacement and painting of all wooden railings if necessary. PRE-BID Conference, including walk-thru, is scheduled for August 30, 1996 at 10:00 AM local time, Bldg. l, Room 29. Construction cost range is between $l and $2 million dollars. A limited number of bid packages will be available on or about August 14, 1996 and will be issued on a first come, first serve basis until supply is exhausted. No fee for plans and specs. Mandatory contract completion time is 200 calendar days. BOD is September 19, 1996 at 3:30 PM local time, and all bidders are expected and urged to inspect he site where the work will be performed. Requests for bid documents must be in writing on company letterhead to the Contracting Officer, address above. No telephone or fax requests will be honored.
