Work to be performed includes, but is not limited to the following: The removal of: 13 guage and 24 guage metal door coverings, all steel, fixed window/glazing, all weathering materials (metallic and non-metallic), insulation and retainers, interior metal wainscot, lead-based paint and its safe disposal, bird droppings and retainers, pilot doors and all hardware including counterweight mechanisms. The temporary removal of: control panel and reinstallation of same, conduits and reinstallation of same, lights and reinstallation of same, horns and reinstallation of same. The provision of new: pre-finished, insulated metal door panels, translucent window panels and trim, weathering materials, 8'' X 8'' metal access covers for all rail drains, new 24 guage siding, repair structural steel, painting, and pilot doors including hardware. Performance period is 270 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. The solicitation will be issued on or about 23 July 1996. The proposed procurement listed herein is unrestricted. Standard Industrial Classification Code for this procurement is 1542. Any concern responding to this solicitation is classified as a small business if the average annual receipts of the concern and its affiliates for the preceding three fiscal years do not exceed $17.0M.
