The Defense Distribution Region East located in New Cumberland PA has a requirement for a contractor to provide the necessary labor, material and equipment on an as-need basis to remove/encapsulate and dispose of asbestos under emergency and non-emergency conditions. Locations include but are not limited to offices, supply areas, warehouses, crawl spaces under buildings, etc. Removal will be from, but not necessarily limited to transite siding, floor tile, steamlines, ceiling tiles, air conditioning lines, boilers, etc. Reinsulation may be req uired after removal of asbestos containing material. Contract period is anticipated to be from date of award through one year with one (1) option year period. The estimated price range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00.
