This equipment shall be used for combustion analysis to: (1) Measure heat release rate, total heat released and effective heat of combustion using oxygen consumption principle, (2) Measure mass loss rate, time to ignition, and specific extinction area, (3) Measure soot mass, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide production during the burning of materials or specimens exposed to radiant heat sources, (4) Measure smoke obstruction and gas analysis, and (5) be used for horizontal and vertical orientation of the work specimen. Delivery is to be FOB destination to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Receiving, 9500 McArthur Blvd., Bldg 60, David Taylor Model Basin, Bethesda, MD 20817, and delivered within 90 days after contract award.
