68 -- COMPRESSED GASES--VARIOUS SOL DAAD05-96-R-0052 DUE 080196 POC Contract Specialist Pamela Morrison 410-278-0897 (Site Code DAAD05) The U.S. Army Garrison, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland has a requirement to purchase compressed gases to use for laboratory analysis. All cylinders shall be prepurged with the specified gas each time prior to being refilled to preclude contamination with residues from the last user. A certificate of lot or batch chemical analysis will be provided for each order of 20 cylinders at the time of delivery. The certificate is for argon methane P5 and P10 only. The required gases are as follows: zero air, argon, methane, P10, Hydrogen, UHP, 99.999% pure, helium, UHP 99.000% pure, nitrogen, UHP 99.999% pure, argon methane P5 (5% UHP methane), and 5% nitrogen/argon mix, grade 5. Also included will be batch analysis and demurrage charges. This is a requirements contract. The quantities will be for a base year and two option years.
