Project includes: clearing & grubbing; construction survey & staking; contractor sampling & testing; temporary traffic control; traffic control devices; 37 ton minor asphalt concrete; 7 cuyd minor concrete structures; 70 lnft 9'-4'' x 13'-3'' arch structural plate culvert; 250 lnft silt fence; 1,050 cuyd excavation; 1,195 cuyd embankment; 380 cuyd unclassified borrow; 66 sqyd earthwork geotextiles; 476 lbs reinforcing steel; 140 cuyd riprap; 114 sqyd removal of asphalt pavement; and other small items of work. Work shall be completed by November 8, 1996. Estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80% guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
