Postal Service is soliciting proposals for the removal, disposal, and replacement of the workroom area lighting at the Hartford Processing & Distribution Center at 141 Weston St. in Hartford, CT. Work includes, but is not limited to, removal and disposal of existing lighting fixtures from the workroom floor area and replacement with approximately 1,300 new Holophane HID fixtures. The estimated cost of the work is between $150,000.00 and $400,000.00, with completion within 120 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. Sealed offers will be received in this office prior to, but no later than, 4:00 p.m. on July 31, 1996. Offers will not be publicly opened. The number of offers received, the identity of the offerors, the amount of any offer, or relative standing of the offerors WILL NOT BE DISCLOSED TO ANYONE until award of contract is made. Proposal documents, plans and specifications will be available o/a July 10, 1996 at a cost of $15.00 per set (non-refundable) from the Facilities Service Office, U. S.
