Z -- SYNOPSIS, CONSTRUCT MAINTENANCE HANGAR AND SHOPS SOL DAHA30-96-B-0011 DUE 082296 POC Contract Specialist Andrew Stewart (518) 786-4741 (Site Code DAHA30) Contractor will provide all materials, labor and supervision for the construction of a 48,000 Square Foot (SF) Hanger and Shop Facility at the 109th Air Wing, Stratton Air National Guard Base, Schenectady County Airport, Scotia, New York. The proposed project includes construction of a 27,000 SF aircraft maintenance hanger and 21,000 SF of adjoining shop area. The project entails the construction of a completely functional maintenance facility and the demolition of an existing hanger facility. Project includes but is not limited to; site work, underground utilities, subsurface drainage, and parking areas. The magnitude of this proposed project is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 1542. The work will be bid as a lump-sum, firm fixed price contract. The Anticipated performance time for this project is 365 calendar days after notice to proceed. IFB DAHA30-96-B-0011 will be issued on or about 22 July 1996, with a bid opening date on or about 22 August 1996. It is required that all firms requesting a solicitation package identify, in writing, whether they will be bidding as a prime or a sub-contractor.
