The work includes but is not limited to the following: Replacing existing 6-inch and 8-inch water mains, and existing valves and fire hydrants with new 8-inch and 10-inch water mains, and new valves and fire hydrants in the Palmer Road North, NMRI, AFFRI, ROICC and Officer's Club areas, construction of a new 10-inch water main from the existing 12-inch water main near the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and running across an open grass area then along Perimeter Road and Grounds Road in the ROICC area, and cleaning and lining the existing 10-inch water main from Rockville Pike to Rixey Road and incidental related work. Plans and specs will be available at a charge of $15.00 on a first-come, first-serve basis until supplies are exhausted.
