Work includes, but is not limited to the demolition of existing overhead electrical distribution and the installation of new underground electrical distribution located at F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming. The basic bid involves the installation of pad-mounted switch gear, transformers, duct bank, manholes, preliminary and secondary laterals. Existing overhead service entrances are to be removed and/or modified. Existing street and parking lot light circuits are to be converted from overhead to underground. The basic bid spans 5th Cavalry approximately 10,600 ft. Bid additive #1 extends the basic bid an additional 2050 ft. Bid additive #2 involves the upgrade of approximately 9800 ft, of #2 EPR, 15kV cable to 4/0 EPR, 15kV and the reinstallation of an existing PMS-12 pad-mounted switch. Performance period for Firm Fixed Price construction contract awarded as a result of this solicitation will be 375 calendar days. This is open to both large and small businesses.
