The work includes the partial removal of existing 2.4KV overhead distribution system at various areas of the Naval Surface Warfare Center; including wood poles, guys, wood crossarms, overhead and underground wiring, transformers, insulation, fused cutouts, surge arresters, and related items. Conversion work includes installation of a new 13.2KV overhead distribution system including wood poles, guys, crossarms, overhead and underground wiring, transformers, transformer secondary containment dike, insulators, fused cutout, surge arresters and incidental related work. Also, existing overhead secondary, telephone, data, and fire reporting system lines shall be transferred from existing poles to new poles. This job is unrestricted.
