Work consists of selective demolition and repair of 828 existing Family Housing Units (32 single family, 76 duplex (38 buildings) and 720 4-plex (180 buildings). Major work elements include: replacing roofing and roof decking, rehanging interior and exterior doors, adding storm windows and doors, repairing 4-plex laterals, replacing family/breakfast room foundations, repairing stemwalls, repairing firewalls, leveling floors, adjusting rim joists, replacing front porches, repairing wood patio connections and foundations, adding duplex closet door headers, repairs HVAC distribution system, and replacing radon mitigation systems. It is anticipated that a firm fixed-price, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract will be awarded with work to be performed in five, one year phases and will be subject to availability of funds.
