Cape Hatteras National Seashore is proposing to repair an existing sandbag revetment at the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, Buxton, NC, Dare County. The sandbag revetment is to be repaired using 300 sandbags, filling them with sand from a borrow area below the high tide level immediately in front of the placement locations.
