R -- MANPOWER ANALYSIS TECHNICAL AND SUPPORT SERVICES SOL N00140-96-R-2328 POC Mike Placido, Contract Negotiator, (215)697-9654. The FISC, Norfolk, Det, Phila. intends to acquire, on a full and open competitive basis, technical and support services for the Navy Manpower Requirements System at the Navy Manpower Analysis Center (NAVMAC), Millington, TN. The expected period of performance will be 26 APR 97 through 25 APR 98, plus four (4) twelve (12) month option periods. Tasking will include developing, analyzing, and proposing new methods and enhancements for determining manpower requirements, reviewing proposed changes in the manpower requirements determination process for conformance with general automated guidelines, consistency and capability, developing standard functional descriptions and workload indicators and reviewing draft and final system documentation for content and clarity, reviewing proposed changes to Navy manpower requirements and authorizations for consistency with Navy policies and directives, and providing Navy-wide training in support of manpower management. The professional services required consist of manpower research studies and analyses, occupational standards development, review and analyses, aviation and ship warfare analyses, ADP hardware analyses, systems analyses, computer programming and analyses, data entry, microcomputer Local Area Network (LAN) support services, technical documentation and training.
