S -- FULL FOOD SERVICE FOR AUTHORIZED MILITARY PERSONNEL. SOL DAAD07-96-R-0123 DUE 081596 POC Contract Specialist James Parnham (505) 678-5536 (Site Code DAAD07) White Sands Missile Range intends to solicit and negotiate a noncompetitive procurement action with the Directorate of Personnel and Community Activities, a Government Non Appropriated Funds Agency, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 and pursuant to AR 215-1. A firm fixed priced contract is anticipated for a base performance period of one year with four (4) one year option periods, providing troop food service to authorized military personnel at White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico. The required food services includes 3 meals per weekday and 2 meals on the weekend 7 days a week 365 days a year served in the main post area and 24 hour up range service during emergency requirements. There will be an estimated 75 authorized military personnel with meal cards who will consume an estimated 200 meals per day. There are no facilities that can be utilized by a potential contractor in support of this requirement. The existing dinning facility needs extensive renovation and will be closed down. Any contractor offering to provide the required services must provide an appropriate facility seating at least 75 people. The required start date for the base period of performance is 1 Oct 96. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals but for information purposes only.
