The work to be accomplished under the resultant contract shall consist of the installation of 14.6 miles of channel improvements. Major items of work to be inspected during construction are as follows: Channel Clearing, Class A (clear only) 86 Stations, Channel Clearing Class C, 329 Stations, Channel Clearing and Shaping, 347 Stations, Channel Excavation (includes Spoil Shaping), 69,762 C.Y., Diversions, 6,600 L.F., Corrugated Metal Pipe, 3,770 L.F., PVC Pipe Drops, 147 Each, PVC Pipe, 7,500 L.F., and Permanent Vegetation, 98 Acres. All work to be performed in the Upper Vermilion Bayou Watershed, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana. Estimated cost of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00.
