This project consists of installation of a concrete foundation for future construction of a picnic shelter, construction of a stone fireplace, and installation of a water tank and hand pump. The Ward Lake Day Use Area is located approximately 10 miles northwest of Ketchikan, Alaska on the Ward Lake-Harriet Hunt Road, FH 39/FDR 80. Access to the project site is by paved and gravel roads from Ketchikan, Alaska. Contract time is 90 calendar days. Simplified Acquisition Procedures apply to this project.
