The proposed procurement is for the resurfacing of an existing parking lot with approximately 11,655 Sq Yd of SM-2AL Bituminous concrete located at FEMA, Mount Weather Emergency Assistance Center (MWEAC), 19844 Blue Ridge Mountain Road, Bluemont, VA 21035. The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment to perform all operations in connection with the resurfacing of the existing parking lot area. Only one award will result from this Request for Quotation (RFQ). Resurfacing work will be accomplished in accordance with Virginia Department Of Transportation, Road and Bridge Specifications, January 1991, Section 315. The work is set-aside for the small business concern. Prospective contractors are required to possess a Virginia Contractor's License to submit a bid in response to the RFQ. The contractors's primary business shall be in the road resurfacing work. The Government's estimated price range for the work is between $25,000.00 to $100,000.00. Construction will take place at FEMA, MWEAC, 19844 Blue Ridge Mountain Road, Bluemont, VA 20135, Loudoun County. A firm-fixed-price construction purchase order is anticipated to be awarded. A prebid Conference and Site Visit will be scheduled, the exact date and time will be identified in the RFQ. The period of performance will be ninety (90) calendar days from receipt of the Notice of Award.
