This project was pre-solicited in the CBD on 1/29/96 and placed on indefinite hold in the 3/5/96 CBD issue. THE PROCUREMENT IS HEREBY REOPENED. The work includes the demolition of selected site improvements such as timber retaining walls, concrete paving, recreation equipment, and landscape plantings and the construction of segmental concrete block retaining walls, recreation areas (including poured-in-place synthetic safety surface and play equipment), storm sewer pipe, manholes, inlets and cleanouts, concrete and asphalt paving, site furnishings (including benches and trash receptacles), concrete steps and associated landscape plantings and lawn restoration. Erosion and sediment pollution controls will be installed and maintained during the construction. Plans & specs will be available on 19 July 96. Bids are due 22 Aug 96. The estimated cost range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. There is no charge for the solicitation and will be issued first-come, first-serve.
