McCreary, (301) 447-1058 The contract shall provide management, supervision, personnel, equipment and supplies necessary to provide various facility support services at the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Federal Support Center (FSC) located at 5321 Riggs Road, Gaithersburg, Maryland. The services include the following major categories: 1) Janitorial services, 2) Trash collection, 3) Grounds maintenance/landscaping, 4) Snow removal and ice treatment, 5) UPS maintenance, 6) Real property maintenance including building, building systems and miscellaneous equipment operation and maintenance). The resulting contract will have a one-year base period beginning October 1, 1996 followed by four (4) one-year option periods. A firm fixed-price contract is contemplated. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered. It is anticipated that the Invitation for Bid will be released on or about July 29, 1996 with a bid opening date of August 29, 1996. A pre-proposal conference at the FSC is anticipated, the date and time will be included in the solicitation.
