The work of this project requires all labor, materials and equipment necessary to furnish and install 6 each single hung (13') and 2 ea double hung (26'-5'') steel entrance gates at various locations within Santa Monica Mountains NRA. Work includes removal of existing gates and all associated welding and structural steel work. Gates shall be tubular steel, ASTM A500-84, Grade B, or ASTM A501-84, either cold formed or hot formed welded units. The inside of tubes shall be coated with rust retardant film to prevent corrosion. Project completion is required within 60 days after notification to proceed. The bid due date is approximate and will be 30 days after issuance of solicitation documents.
