The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue Solicitation N00024-96-R-5241 to Northrop Grumman Norden Systems (NGNS), Norden Place, P.O. BOX 5300, Norwalk, CT 06856 for Design Agent Engineering Services in support of the AN/SPS-67(V) Series Radar. The estimated number of engineering man-hours required for the FY96 base year is 2,250 with an option for an additional 12,750 hours. In addition to the FY96 base year requirement, four (4) option years are also required with an estimated engineering man-hour requirement of 15,000 in FY97, 15,000 in FY98, 15,000 in FY99 and 15,000 in FY00. NGNS is the original designer and sole producer of the AN/SPS-67(V) Series Radar. It is the only company which has the technical knowledge, experience, tooling and equipment to perform the Design Agent Engineering Services within the required time frame.
