This is a market survey to locate additional sources for Image Intensifier Tubes, Generation II, NSN: 5855-00-138-2386, part of the AN/VVS-2(V) Viewers, Driver's Night Vision, for a minimum quantity of 2000 each. If any source can furnish a device equivalent to the Image Intensifier Tube, Generation II or better, they must submit, in writing, to Commander, CECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-IEW-N-II (Kennedy), Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5023. The response must include documentation such as production and testing capability similar to that required in MIL-I-49040E and SM-D-850310. In addition, test results and past delivery history on image intensifier tubes must be provided. The successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army. For additional information, contact Mr. Gerard P.
