each. NASA Langley Research Center intends to negotiate with
Honeywell, Inc., on a sole source basis under the Authority of USC 2304
(C) (1). The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for
which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one
source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify
their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit
proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive
proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this
proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within
the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally
be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct
a competitive procurement). This procurement will be awarded in
accordance with midrange and commercial item procedures. See FAR Part
12. An ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors,
potential offerors, and contractors during the preaward and postaward
phases of this acquisition. The purpose of the ombudsman is not to
diminish the authority of the contracting officer, the Source
Evaluation Board, or the selection official, but to communicate
concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations of interested
parties to the appropriate Government personnel and to work to resolve
them. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict
confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The ombudsman does not
participate in the evaluation of proposals, the source selection
process, or the adjudication of formal contract disputes. Concerned

REQUESTS/INFORMATION. Concerns, issues, disagreements, and
recommendations which cannot be resolved by the installation ombudsman
