linda.s.kelley.1@gsfc.nasa.gov. NASA/GSFC intends to release a
Cooperative Agreement Notice (CAN) on July 10, 1996, for one or more
feasibility assessments to gather information related to concepts for
low cost derivatives of existing satellites which may be applicable to
future Earth observing missions. While this information may be used in
future evaluations of alternatives for Earth Observing System (EOS)
Chemistry as well as other National Aeronautics and Space
Administration (NASA) missions, the studies which result are not
themselves part of a procurement resulting from a decision to
restructure any ongoing mission. Proposals from industry will be due on
August 2, 1996, with study results due during the week of November 4,
1996. NASA intends to award multiple Cooperative Agreements for a fixed
price of up to $200,000 each. Electronic versions of the documents will
be provided on the World Wide Web at
http://genesis.gsfc.nasa.gov/procure.htm, and by anonymous ftp to
genesis.gsfc.nasa.gov/public/web/solicita. See Numbered Note(s): 17.
