R -- CONSTRUCTION REPORTS POC Polly Beeler, 301/457-4420 The Bureau of the Census has a requirement for a monthly electronic file which contains all construction projects in the contract award or start stage for the United States. This file should provide detailed information for each uniquely identified project including but not limited to: 1) Description with detailed type of construction code; 2) Location; 3) Valuation; 4) Ownership designation (private, state, local or federal); 5) Type of project (new, addition, or alteration); 6) Square feet of floor space; 7) Owner's name, address, and telephone number; 8) Name, address, and telephone number of other project officials (architect, contractor, engineer, etc.) This information is required by the 5th work day of each month following the contract award or start month. The respondents must furnish sufficient information which demonstrates their capability to meet these requriements within 15 days of issuance of this notice. In addition, the respondents must quantify the extent of their coverage of all construction projects in the United States with the submission of evaluation studies or summary statistics.
