The contractor shall furnmish all labor, materials, transportation required for total maintenance and repair of the Fire Suppression system on Piers 1, 2, and 3 and Building 559 and R-22 and the potable water, steam and sewage utilities systems on all piers and trestles. Work includes, but is not limited to, the preventive maintenance and repair of all components, devices, equipment, and associated systems, consisting of pumps, diesel engines, electric motors, compressors, sensors, control systems, righ angle drives, drive shafts, flow indicators, tamper switches, freeze protection systems, heat exchangers, piping, valves, hydrants, sprinklers, expansion joints, heat trace, insulation, strainers and all other miscellaneous related equipment and systems. The resultant contract will be a combination firm fixed price/indefinite quantity contract. All work shall be completed in strict accordance with the specifications. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for this procurement is 1799. This procurement is being issued as unrestricted - pen to large and small business concerns.
