The work includes the demolition of seven existing 3-story concrete frame barracks buildings, the demolition of an asphalt paved parking lot,and the demolition of miscellaneous site utilities and sidewalks. The new construction will include two 3-story and two 4-story load bearing masonry structures, with precast hollow core floor slabs and cold formed structural steel roof trusses. Thenew construction also includes a 2-story commons building with similar construction systems. The roof will be asphalt shingles on plywood deck on corrugated steel deck. The work includes a new parking log, landscaping and associated hard scape work.The demolition work includes miscellaneous removal and disposal of asbestos and lead paint.
