The work includes removal of an existing 53 HP boiler and two domestic hot water heaters, construction of a steam and condensate trench, and steam and condensate piping, installation of a steam pressure reducing station, two steam to hot water converters, condensate receiver and incidental related work. The proposed procurement will result in the award of one firm-fixed price lump sum contract. During the performance of this work, asbestos, hazardous waste, or pollution abatement may be encountered. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 06 August 1996 at no charge until supplies are exhausted. The estimated Bid Opening date is 05 September 1996. Performance time is 180 calendar days. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1711. The related small business size standard is $7 million.
