Z -- THIS PROJECT INVOLVES THE REPAIR OF BUILDING 1128, AT HANSCOM AFB, MA SOL F19650-96-B0006 DUE 091196 POC Sharon A. Skelton, Contract Specialist, #617-377-3247 or Patricia N. The principle items of work include but are not limited to: All labor, materials equipment, and travel to install Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning System; upgrading existing plumbing, electrical, lighting, fire protection systems, repair existing finishes throughout the renovated space, construct new restrooms, replace windows and install exterior building finish system. Execution of this project shall be phased. During the construction of each phase, the remainder of the facility not under construction will remain occupied and in operation. Work will be accomplished while allowing the continued operation of the existing Toxic Gas Lab which is adjacent to the project but not within the project scope. There will be 2 bid options for additional phase areas. The performance period for this project shall be 270 calendar days for Basic Bid. The performance period for the options will be: Option 1 - 150 calendar days and Option 2 - 120 calendar days. If all items are awarded concurrently the total performance period shall be 365 calendar days. The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000. and $5,000,000. There is a statutory limit of $3,000,000. for this project. This is a firm fixed price contract.
