This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. 52DDNE-6-90151, is issued as a RFP. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-37. The U.S. Department of Commerce/NOAA intends purchase from Photometrics of Tucson, AZ, the following items on a sole make and model basis; 1)Digital CCD Camera System, 512x512 pixel thinned, scientific grade CCD with Vis-AR (SITe502A, Grade1), CCD screened and tested (full test report provided), thermally cooled camera head (requires liquid circulation), camera electronics unit with temperature display, requires 386, 486 computer & windows 3.0 or higher, part #ATC200L, Qty 4. 2)Liquid circulation pump unit (110V), part #S2-LCU1, Qty 2. 3)PC/ISA camera controller card, part #S2-AT200, Qty 2. 4)MAPS spectroscopy software (with series 200 camera)for PC only. Terms include one year warranty. All equipment shall be received by 3pm local time, Aug 30, 1996, FOB destination at: US Dept of Commerce, NOAA, Camp Springs, MD, 20746.
