The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization intends to issue a Sole Source contract to Fischer International, 3506 Merchantile Ave, Naples, FL 33942 for this acquisition of EMC2/TAO Software to include one year of maintenance. Software and service shall be located/performed in Chambersburg, PA. No contract award will be made on the basis of quotations/proposals received in response to this notice since this synopsis cannot be considered a Request for Quotation/Proposals. The resultant purchase order shall be a firm, fixed price purchase order. The anticipated RFQ release date is 29 Jul 96 with quotations expected to be due on 2 Aug 96. Vendor quotations in response to this RFQ must be received in hard copy.
