The Volpe National Transportation Systems Center plans to solicit a sole-source simplified acquisition from Bruel & Kjaer, Decatur, GA in support of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) aircraft certification program. The Volpe Center plans to procure two (2) state-of-the-art measurement and analysis instrumentation systems, Sony PC208ax multi-channel, digital instrumentation recorders which will become integral components of these systems. The PC208ax recorders must include stringent dynamic range requirements and be capable of full integration with current Volpe instrumentation including but not limited to, Bruel & Kjaer (B&K) 4155 microphones, Type 2317 Graphic Level Recorders, General Radio 1560-P42 preamplifiers, Ithaco preamplifiers, Hewlett Packard HP652A Test Oscillators and a HP35665A Dynamic Signal Analyzer.
