CONTRACTING OFFICER, (904) 230-3100 The Navy Experimental Diving Unit
is identifying sources having suitable commercially available dive
computers and data loggers which can be used as data loggers. These
dive loggers must include download software and hardware to interface
with an IBM personal computer or compatible microcomputer via a
standard rs-232 or parallel port. The loggers must be able to log depth
every two seconds of whenever there is a depth change of ''2'' feet of
sea water. The dive loggers must be able to log a 10 (ten) hour dive
under the conditions that a diver is changing depth of two feet of sea
water every two seconds. Specifications for the dive logger hardware
and software will be stated in the solicitation. Dive computers
identified will be used for decompression tables. The loggers are to be
tested and evaluated for possible inclusion into the ''Authorized for
Navy Use'' (ANU) publication. Identification of multiple sources is
