The National Institutes of Health (NIH) National Institute of Diabetes
and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) intends to purchase the
services for general overhead of operation and maintenance of high
field NMR Spectrometers models DMX-500, DMX-600, DMX-750. This service
is needed to oversee and/or carry out routine maintenance of the
magnets of the above instruments, including regular filling with
cryogens and attention to any special needs or malfunctions in the
magnets, provide advice and assistance on repair of NMR equipment, To
maintain electronic test equipment and electronics components needed in
the Laboratory's electronics shop. On request, design and fabricate
special electronics modules required to upgrade the instruments for
complex, innovative NMR studies. All responsible sources may submit a
quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by the agency.
All request for quotations must be in within the Simplified Acquisition
Thereshold $ 50,000. It is anticipated that Request For Quotation (RFQ)
Number NIH-NIDDK-96-197 will be available within fifteen (15) days
after publication date of this synopsis. Receipt of quotations will be
due ten (10) days after the release of the RFQ. The anticipated award
date is August 9, 1996. Requests for copies of the RFQ must be in
writing and may be requested by FAX 301-480-4226. Quotations must be
