The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to negotiate a contract modification to add 53,000 manhours with an option for an additional 108,420 manhours to an existing contract for technical support services for Surface Ship Maintenance Improvement Program (SSMIP) with American Management Systems, Inc. (AMS), 1777 North Kent Street, Arlington, VA 22209. The contractor will continue to perform these services under Contract N00024-92-C-4160 for the period of approximately 31 August 1996 through 31 December 1996 or until award of a competitively negotiated procurement now in process.
