Sealed bids will be accepted from all business concerns for Michigan Forest Highway Project MI PFH 13-3(10,11) in Delta and Alger Counties, Michigan, consisting of widening the existing roadway to meet current design standards, and includes grading, installing drainage structures, placing aggregate base and hot asphalt concrete pavement, and other miscellaneous work. Principal items of work and approximate quantities are as follows: Aggregate base under bituminous, 126,200 square meters; Bituminous mixture 13A, 17,840 metric tons; Bituminous base crushing and shaping, 76,900 square meters; Galvanized beam guardrail, Type B, 2,600 meters. The project is expected to fall within the price range of $1,000,000 to $2,500,000 and has a construction completion date of August 31, 1997.
